Interest on Lawyers Trust Accounts (IOLTA)

Founders Bank is proud to be a Prime Partner of the Texas Equal Access for Justice Foundation, which funds civil legal services for low-income Texans.

As a Prime Partner, we offer highly competitive Interest on Lawyers Trust Accounts (IOLTAs). Our IOLTA is an interest-bearing checking account for attorneys and law firms, providing a convenient place to hold clients' funds while generating much-needed legal funding for the economically disadvantaged.

NOTE: The client (not the IOLTA program) receives the interest if the amount and time held create a measurable sum. The IOLTA program only receives the interest if the amount were not enough to offset the fees that would be associated with the account.
