Our Positive Pay service provides customers with a mechanism for detecting fraudulent check activity. This service is convenient and easy to use.
Each day you write checks and transmit an electronic file that includes all the checks written and voided that day. Any time a check is presented for payment against your account, the information is cross-checked to that file to make sure all the information agrees with the previous authorized file you submitted.
Customers can manually import the file from your business' accounts payable software.
Positive Pay is a fraud deterrent. The check is not stopped; it is only flagged.
